Sites and Resources for Open Data
Luckily for data analysts, there are lots of trustworthy sites and resources available for open data. It is important to remember that even reputable data needs to be constantly evaluated, but these websites are a useful starting point:

- U.S. government data site: One of the most complete data sources in the US is data.gov. This tool provides users with the tools and data they need to do research.
- U.S. Census Bureau: This open data source provides demographic data from American commercial enterprises as well as federal, state, and local governments.
- Open Data Network: Advanced filters and a really powerful search engine are features of this data source. Data on subjects including finances, public safety, infrastructure, and housing and development are available here.
- Google Cloud Public Datasets: BigQuery comes pre-loaded with a number of public datasets that are accessible via the Google Cloud Public Dataset Program.
- Dataset Search: You can use the Dataset Search, a search engine created especially for data sets, to look for certain data sets.
